Memorials & Donations

We can spiritually remember an engagement, marriage, expectant couple, ordination, birthday, graduation, anniversary of marriage, ordination or death, or other significant milestone for the living or deceased by dedicating the items we use for worship: the Sanctuary Lamp which constantly burns before the Blessed Sacrament; the Bread and Wine used at Mass; the Sanctuary Flowers. A set donation is requested, a card is provided, noting the item and time of dedication, and the names are printed in the bulletin. For more information, contact the parish office at [201] 438-2200.

Votive Candles - The donation for an Annual Memorial Candle is $250 and can be memorialized by calling the parish office. The special white candles, which are lit for one year, will include the name[s] of the intention and requestor. These annual candle intentions may be for any person[s] living or deceased. Consider making an annual intention for the newborn, the newlywed, the sick, those serving in the military or the deceased.

Sanctuary Candles in the Church - The Candles burn for 1 week with your donation of $25.00 per candle and can be offered by calling the parish office. When a Sanctuary Candle is memorialized, the weekly bulletin will read: "The Sanctuary Lamp which burns near the Tabernacle in the Church or the Convent, the reminder of the Lord's Presence in the Most Holy Eucharist will burn in memory of___ : and is requested by:___."

Altar Breads - The Altar Breads can be offered with your donation of $50.00. When the Altar Breads are memorialized, the weekly bulletin will read: "The Altar Breads which will become the Body of Our Lord Jesus Christ at the Masses celebrated during the week will be offered in memory [or celebration - for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, get well, etc.] of:___ and requested by:____."

Altar Wine - The Altar Wine can be offered with your donation of $50.00. When the Altar Wine is memorialized, the weekly bulletin will read: "The Altar Wine which will become the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Masses celebrated during the week will be offered in memory of [or celebration - for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, get well, etc.] of:___ and requested by:____."

Altar Flowers - The Flowers can be offered with your donation of $50.00. When the Altar Flowers are memorialized, the weekly bulletin will read "The Flowers which will adorn the Sanctuary and Worship Space of Church during the week can be offered in memory of [or celebration - for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, get well, etc.] of:___ and requested by:____."
